Worked great, easy to update, some of the games it came with didn’t work but i ended up using a set i had already so it didn’t matter as i ended up using my own card anyways but nice it came with one. As far as i could tell 100% worked with my real n64 hardware and my analogue 3d. I ended up ordering more to use on more of my consoles around the house.

It works! some of the contents and structure of the included sd card are baffling and i suggest popping it into your computer first to tidy it up a bit, but this is barely an issue. games load fast, properly, and the menu has fun little boops. the cartridge itself looks stylish and well built. the price feels just right too. thanks for making this thing!

This cartridge is great has plenty of games it works on n64 very well. However you will need an expansion pak to play n64 games that require the expansion pak this is due to the n64 not the cartridge with expansion pak it plays those games well.

Usa review. Tested 10 games and only 1 didn’t work. I purchased a red cartridge and it had the led lights which look really cool even though the ad did not list that it had leds at all so it was a nice surprise. Haven’t total up how many games are on there but there’s several hundred. Unlike other cartridges, there is only n64 games on here. There’s no other systems so it’s perfect for what i wanted. I paid about $50 with shipping and i would highly recommend highly recommend. It’s so cool. And it looks really cool too with the leds.

Item works in n64 but i was unable to update the firmware via computer as my computer can’t find the device it appears to be missing components on the board also sadly the as card i got seems a bit unstable so will have to get a brand name micro as to fix that issue plan to order a summer cart from a different vendor hoping i can avoid this issue

Buyer beware! The cartridge itself works alright, but for whatever reason, the seller chose to omit the circuitry required to connect to the cartridge via usb-c. It feels very deceptive to me, because why would you even include the usb-c port if you can’t use it, and there are no indications on the store page that this functionality would not work. Additionally, there is no ‘reset’ button usually present on sc64s, which is listed in the shop description.

Got here quicker than expected and it’s soooo cool! One thing i did encounter is that every game starting with w or later seemed to be corrupted, but it was no issue to plop in the sd card into my computer with the included reader and delete the bad files and download new ones, works like a charm! Very happy with my purchase.

First off it does work but for the price it’s not worth it the first thing i noticed is there is a missing chip not 100% sure why or what’s it’s supposed to do it is also missing the developer button that more than likely will get used at some point as more people work on it and last it does not have the right cpu chip so some features will not work as they do with a properly made sc64 instead they stick some cheep rgb leds on the sides that are way too bright cause access heat to build and get extremely hot during gameplay

The usb port on this sc64 cart is completely nonfunctional. I’m not saying it was broken, but the usb port could never have worked to begin with. The ftdi chip for usb communication along with a few other related chips were never populated on the board, so there was no way it ever could have worked. This cart will always have the firmware it shipped with and never can be upgraded. This was a deliberate act on the part of the seller to make the cart cheaper.
For whatever reason, aliexpress hid all reviews mentioning this when i first viewed the listing, but showed them after i had made my purchase. I would not have purchased this if i had known that this was what i would receive.
Other than the usb port being purely decorative, the game cart works. It’s loads on the n64 and can run games. It’s just really frustrating to receive something that isn’t completely functional.

The manufacturer of this particular cart has omitted the usb interface ic to make it cheaper. So the firmware can never be updated. The usb port is still installed, but it is completely useless. This is not a huge deal for most people, but since this is not explicitly stated in the product description, i am giving this item 4 stars.

This item was dead on arrival. i got the cartridge and inserted it into my n64 and all i got was this abnormal screen error. nothing works with this. i reached out to them and they haven’t gotten back to me.

One of the best purchases i’ve ever made for my old n64. i’ve had this thing since 1997 and it’s nice to see it can learn some new tricks. this is the best priced summer cart i’ve seen on the internet and it works very well and looks awesome. pair this with a new wireless controller and an hdmi upscaler and you’ve got a very modern n64.

It ran the game was pretty well once i deleted all the corrupt files off the memory record they sent me. once i added my own roms it started working fine.. the memory card it come with is the cheapest memory card you can possibly buy. my suggestion is get a real memory card as soon as possible and back up operation files

Do not buy, the pcb lacks hardware that allows it to be updated via the usb interface, you will be stuck with the firmware that is on the chip.
Of course, aliexpress won’t understand what the problem is and will make you pay to return it, which is super expensive for the client.
It’s a shame to cheap out on so inexpensive parts (worth a few cents) , making it a useless piece of device.

Okay, where to start? This is a good device if you don’t need to update and you just wanna play games. But if you’re like me and you like to tinker, and you want to be able to update the cart, it’s gonna be impossible for this cart. Because it is missing the pieces that you would need for the board to communicate with the pc. The button used to put it in programming mode is completely missing. The r1, r2, and r3 spots on the board do not have the components that are necessary to even communicate with your pc to update. It was the cheapest one i could find, and if you don’t care about updating and you just want to play games, this is fine. If you like to tinker and update your firmware, for the cart.it’s not gonna be possible with this one. I will say the shipping was really fast and the cart actually works, you just can’t update anything on it.
