Unfortunately the 4gb sd card was defective, when starting the gameboy it would always give an error: 0xc4. also re formatting the sd did not help. but the cardridge itself works fine!

The system is good, it comes with several games and is perfect with no errors. I only noticed if it drains the battery (I don’t use regular batteries, I use rechargeable ones) the battery runs out in an hour and 20 minutes. I will switch to other batteries to test.

Blatant everdrive clone with 32kb sram (not suitable for lsdj). Sram backup works though. They didn’t even bother to remove the krikzz copyright and author notice. No rtc.
The cartridge is not easy to open without violence (to change the battery).
If you can, just get the real everdrive by krikzz.

I have ordered 2 units and the micro SD cards are defective, neither of them work. The seller complains but does not resolve anything, no return or refund. I cannot return them because I promised to deliver them with some consoles. I had to buy 2 micro SD cards myself and copy one that I have that does work. I recommend looking for another seller who will take responsibility, at least to send some micro SD cards if the ones that come standard fail.

Does not work properly. I bought almost the same one from another seller and had no problems. This one, on the other hand, does not retain the configuration, sometimes does not start at all, tested with several GameBoys and several SD cards, still the same issue. (and no response from the seller)
Try to find a version marked 2023 on the PCB rather than 2025.

Good product! It worked very well on my Game Boy SP, the battery. The battery didn’t work on the GameBoy Pocket. The games save progress and it already came with several games.

Didn’t work at first, i took it apart and there was flux on the pins of the st chip (the middle one of the three) which made me think that there had been a previous failed or aborted rework attempt. It didn’t look too bad but not quite as well soldered as the other ics.
I removed the battery, masked off the surrounding area with kapton tape (being especially careful of the plastic battery holder) and reflowed that chip with flux and hot air, then cleaned all the flux residue up with isopropyl alcohol.
Works fine now, i could have just claimed a refund but fixing it is much more rewarding!
There are two unpopulated sets of ic pads which an images search suggests is for power saving ics, this is a bit naughty as these chips should really be there!

I received the product and liked it a lot. It came very well packaged and the cartridge is very well made. I recommend the store. The delivery was delayed, but I understand that the situation with airlines caused the delay. I didn’t take photos of the product, but it came in a separate box made of thick cardboard and bubble wrap.

The cart works, but the firmware it came with wouldn’t load saved games and wouldn’t save settings.
I got the unofficial firmware from “remank game color edgb” on archive com and everything is working fine now.
Store has a dumb bot replying messages, so don’t bother with support. Packaging was very decent, though.
Do not put the official firmware on this card or it will brick it.
